Honeymoon Cottage

27

This Victorian shotgun-style cottage was built c. 1890 by Ed Pearce Sr. for himself and his bride. The Shotgun design creates the ability to look in the front door and see through all four rooms and out the back door. In the 1920’s and 30’s, the cottage was remodeled to be used as a bordello, with the hallway placed on the side, providing privacy to all the rooms.

The cottage has been used for shops and businesses throughout the years, but has primarily been used as a residence. Today it is a private residence.
